In this paper, Manfred and I develop an analysis of negative concord in Polish based on an investigation of the logical forms of the words that participate in Polish negative concord constructions. Because we use Ty2 as semantic representation language, we also show how Ty2 can be integrated with the logical architecture of HPSG, and how semantic composition rules can be defined as grammatical principles. Our analysis of negative concord is ultimately formulated as an instance of a general theory of collocations.
